The Responsibility Of Prayer

You’re responsible for the things that happen in your life, your environment and in your world as a whole. God has made you a priest unto him. Revelation 1:6 says “And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.”

You’ve been given the ministry of priesthood and thus, nothing in your life or around you should happen by accident. So don’t expect God to make things happen, rather make things happen through your prayers.

When you take up the responsibility of prayer, nothing happens that you’re not aware of because they’ve already been settled on your knees. Can God trust you to take up this responsibility today?

In Gal.6:7 the scripture says that God is not to be mocked; whatever a man sows he reaps. If he sows in the flesh he reaps corruption and in the spirit, he reaps life and peace. As a royal priesthood, a nation set aside, a peculiar person, one is expected to offer holy and acceptable sacrifices daily. This injunction, as an elect, makes it obvious for one to see the ministry of prayer as a compulsion rather than necessity. Moreover, you are expected to have discovered the perfect will of the Father and no more good or acceptable will. Prayer is the master key of spiritual life. I am more delighted to be encouraged by Pastor Chris and his wife that speaking in tongues should be always and not occasionally. O' God of peace teach your beloved children how to be fervent in prayer always such that we can produce the dynamic power that reshapes our future for good (Amen).
